At Dr. McKinley’s office, we use the latest in modern dental technology to help make your experience easier and more comfortable.  Some of the exciting technology we are using includes:

CEREC--one visit crowns and veneers.  No more temporaries, no more filling your mouth with gooey impression material.  Just shorter, faster visits when needing crowns and veneers.
This is the world's greatest system for the fabrication of all ceramic dental restorations in one office visit!  Watch your crown/onlay/inlay or veneer being designed and milled right in front of your eyes out of a solid block of high quality ceramic.  All in one visit.  Custom made for you.

Cerec MC XL ("Magic Crown making machine")

Compudent (The Wand)--a revolutionary injection technique.  Painless and no intimidating looking syringe.

More comfort & less anxiety

  • Significantly more comfortable than the syringe.

  • Greatly reduces anxiety.

  • Can eliminate collateral numbness.

Digital x-rays--we use the most up to date Shick digital sensors for patient comfort and excellent quality dental images.

Digital cone beam 3D scanner (Galileos).  Using the Galileos scan we can see 3 dimensional images of your skull, jaws and teeth.  These images can reveal cancerous lesions, cracks, decay, tmj abnormalities, and can be used for guided implant surgery (to get your implant placed exactly in the right location).  This is also useful for treating people with sleep apnea.

Invisalign/Suresmile--(The invisible way to straighter teeth) – The latest in orthodontics now allows us to straighten your teeth without the use of unsightly metal brackets!  Contact us for a free consultation to see if clear aligners will work for you.

Teeth Whitening/Bleaching--We use a neutral pH bleaching system that works fast and is comfortable.  In-office treatment is available.  Or, if you prefer the convenience of home treatment, our bleaching system requires only 30 minutes per day.

Instrument sterilization is accomplished using a steam autoclave.  We use laboratory tested samples to confirm that our sterilization techniques are working properly.

Diode Laser--used for soft tissue treatment.  This replaces some of the harsh techniques dentists used to cut tissue.  The laser tip is extremely small.  It evaporates pin-point areas of tissue while cauterizing to stop bleeding.
